At under 10kg, weight stops being the limiting factor it is for bigger dogs, so the decision usually comes down to how your dog prefers to travel rather than what a carrier can physically support. Why Choose a Small Dog Carrier
Small dogs are light enough that format becomes a genuine choice rather than a constraint, which is exactly why this category has the widest range of styles on the site.
